Angels Youth Softball Association Inc. (AYSA) is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Racine, WI. The organization’s mission is; “empowering young women by providing equitable participation opportunities in fastpitch softball. In the organization’s first year of existence AYSA provided fastpitch softball opportunities to more than 75 families within the greater Racine area. AYSA will continue to pursue opportunities for girlsaged 8-18 to play recreational and advanced fast pitch softball.

AYSA is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors and governed under by laws which are reviewed annually. No board member receives a salary, stipend, or compensation of any kind. All funds received by AYSA go to support the on field activities on Angels Youth Softball.

AYSA intends to begin hosting home field competitions in 2024 and work towards self sufficiency throughconcession stand sales, skill camps, and hosting tournaments.

Established in 2023 AYSA introduced the first Club Softball team associated with the organization called Racine Angels Fastpitch.

Racine Angels Fastpich currently has one club team competing in 2024 and is looking to add more teams in the future!

Rachel Vogt is the director of softball operations for Racine Angels Fastpitch and is a former NCAA Division III Softball Player from Wisconsin Lutheran College who graduated from WLC in 2008 as an Art Major. She would go on to receive her Post-Baccalaureate teaching license in art education and special needs art education from Alverno College.

Rachel has taught Art for eight years from grades K-12, most recently in Siena Catholic Schools in 2021.

As a coach, Rachel has nearly 15 years of coaching experience, including 12 years as an infield and hitting coach at the NCAA level. During her tenure at Wisconsin Lutheran College as an assistant coach Rachel worked with young women who would go on to win All Conference and All American accolades. Among Rachel's many responsibilities and successes Rachel has; lead College showcase camps, planned and executed practices, organized and led youth camps, and helped formulate the program's team philosophy, rules, expectations, and goals.
